…and we’re busy. And sick. Apparently it was a good plan to give both Brian and me a cold right now, so we’re fighting to get everything done this week with heavy heads and runny noses. We need to sort out the last minute things on the cruiser before the inspection on Monday. We’re still waiting for the air con pipe to be welded so we can put it back in, we need a new valve for the front tyre and we need to take the bull bar off. We also need to clean the car inside out – well, we don’t entirely need to do that now, it just feels like the proper thing to do now that it’s pretty much finalized and will be out amongst people – and we need to clean out the garage since our storage time there is almost up. Oh, and we also need to go to work and make things go around as usual. So we feel a little busy at the moment.
But we’re looking forward to next week and our holiday with our friends up north. A well deserved short vacation I’d say since we worked every day during summer. Some hunting, playing with babies and dogs, fresh air, hot saunas, good food and great friends. Can’t wait!
We leave Stockholm just a couple of days after the inspection and have every hour planned for what to do before we go. Put everything back on, roof rack, bull bar, in with the fridge and seats again and go park the car and cover it up. We don’t really have a plan B, so the big question right now is – will we pass the inspection?

oh my golly – so much to do and so little time to do it in…. and you sick on top of that.. jeepers man… sorry!!! but dont stress .. you will manage jsut fine!! i meant to ask about the spotlights… do you think you have enough – my goodness me.. you certainly wont get lost with those on the front!! :)

but you guys must not stress about the inspection – i am sure you ( or the car rather) will be fine… surely its not a once off thing… surely if there is something worng – they give you a certain amount of time to correct it and then go again… or something like that…
well our fingers will be crossed for you.. what time on monday you going in for inspection adn how long does it take… ??

Uhm, those are just the lights on the bull bar, there are another six (!) lights on the roof rack..! And two extra rear lights on the back of the roof rack. You know how dark it gets, we thought we’d lighten it up a bit. :) You’ll prob be able to see our camp at night all the way down to Moz while we’re still in Kenya… ;D
Thanks hey, yes hopefully we will pass and if we don’t we’ll just have to fix whatever needs to be fixed and try again! Inspection is 10.30 on Monday…
